A tag line used often in Barak Obama’s speeches is “Planet in Peril.” Is the planet in peril? Is the entire planet in peril? Is the USA in peril? Is Texas in peril?
The answers are not easy, which is why one of the most rapidly growing job sectors in the USA is "environmental." Our degrees in environmental programs prepare you for these jobs. They include two interdisciplinary programs (B.S. Environmental Geosciences and B.S. Environmental Studies) and specific programs in Atmospheric Science, Geography, Geology, andOceanography.
