B.S. Environmental Studies: Goals![]() The B.S. degree in Environmental Studies emphasizes the societal aspects of human-environment issues, along with a core set of courses in the geosciences and basic sciences. B.S. Environmental Studies: CurriculumTo earn a B.S. Environmental Studies, you should fulfill 44 credits of core courses from the College of Geosciences; 21 credits of Environmental Policy & Management: 9 credits of Math and Statistics; 4 credits of Biological Sciences; 6 credits of Geosciences electives; 6 credits of History; 23 other credits, and 15 free electives.
