Welcome!

Howdy! Welcome to the Environmental Programs in Geosciences at Texas A&M University and thank you for your interest in us as a potential place to come study the environment.

The environment poses this and future generations some of its biggest challenges. The environment is the life-support system of Planet Earth - the only planet that is, as far as we know, habitable for humans. Yet this and past generations have done immense damage to the life-support system - we need to find ways of reducing our impact on Planet Earth and reverse the damage done in the past.

We will teach you about the Earth's life-support system (the environment), how it functions, how people interact with it, and how we can minimize damage. We will teach you about environmental science and environmental policy in the friendly, fun and supportive College of Geosciences. We'll encourage you to discover your potential, introduce you to the possibilities of environmental research in the lab and in the field, actively work with you to find internships, and introduce you to many opportunities to study at places across Planet Earth.

Check us out!
